Cortina d'Ampezzo is an Italian town in the province of Belluno in Veneto. Nicknamed the "Queen of the Dolomites", it is the largest and most famous of the 18 municipalities that make up the Ladinia region, as well as a renowned winter and summer tourist destination, which hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics and is the scene of numerous international events related to the mountain and winter sports.
