Typography in play

On Saturday 11 May 2024, children aged 5 to 10 are invited to the Civic Library to take part in 'Tipografia in Gioco': printing and typography workshops with Tipi alla Mano.
Here are the themes of the day, divided according to the age of the young aspiring typographers:
**FIRST IMPRINTING** (children aged 5/6)
- 1st round: from 9.00 to 10.30 a.m.
- 2nd shift: 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
In this workshop, one's own initial becomes a special letter! Children will have the opportunity to make their own stamp by cutting out a sponge and transforming it into a unique stamp.
**From the book to the zeta** (children aged 7/10)
- Single shift, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Starting with a selection of original illustrated books, each participant will construct his or her own stamp inspired by the protagonist of the story that most impressed him or her.
Both activities are supervised by Michela Gasparini, graphic designer and librarian.
